Bible
At Grace Church, we take the Bible seriously, believing that it is God’s trustworthy word to us about his Son, Jesus Christ. Because we want the Bible to make a difference in our lives, the heart of our Sunday@4 meetings is relevant and robust Bible teaching. All children have Bible teaching each week in their groups.
Grace
Grace means God’s undeserved favour, and sums up everything that God has done for us in creating us, and saving us through the death of Jesus Christ in our place. Grace is all about how we get right with God, relying on what he does for us, not what we do for him. We preach the gospel of God's grace and seek to live lives that are changed by God's grace to better display his character in us.
Community
We are not created to be alone, but to live in community. God himself is a community of three persons: Father, Son, Spirit. A local church should be a place where people can grow closer to each other in deeper fellowship. We want to share our lives with each other in practical ways.
Mission
God is on a mission to restore all that is wrong with the world. This mission centres on Jesus, who God sent into the world to rescue us from our sin and to give us an eternal future with him. What Jesus has done for us is incredibly good news, and we have the privilege and responsibility to tell others about it.

At Grace, this means we seek to encourage and equip one another to share the good news about what Jesus has done for us. This includes offering good quality events, courses and other opportunities for anyone who is interested to explore the claims of Christianity.
We also partner with others involved in sharing the message and love of Jesus around the world. Alongside local partnerships, such as Christians Against Poverty, we also support ‘mission partners’ overseas, who are translating the Bible and training others. We periodically support our local Foodbank and source our church refreshments from Ethical Addictions, a local coffee company run by Christians.

We invite you to join us and find out more about Jesus, or you could start now by reading a short biography of his life: Mark’s Gospel.
